Today’s all inclusive resorts offer more than umbrella drinks and buffet dining. Most offer numerous non-motorized sports and a choice of pool areas ranging from kids to adults and quiet to non stop entertainment and music. Several a la carte restaurants, premium liquors and elegant guest rooms options are available. Some offer inclusive golf, spa treatments, world class entertainment and water parks,
The most popular destinations for all inclusive resorts are the Caribbean Islands and Mexico but they can also be found in most Central American countries, and South American destinations including Chile, Columbia, Ecuador, Brazil and Venezuala. The South of Spain and Bermuda, Morocco and even Egypt offer options for those who are looking for something more unique.
Some chains are adult only resorts, while others are for couples without kids. These two options, while they sound similar, have very different clients in mind. Think adult only for singles looking for an active night life and candlelit dinners for couples.
College breakers will value all inclusive resorts where the total trip cost can be more easily be controlled at the time of booking. Once they arrive, they will likely find all the activity needed right on site and already included in the price paid up front. Adults beware the Ides of March, when planning family vacations during spring break. A travel agent would be helpful in planning with you.
Families with teens and tweens might choose resorts that cater to these specific age groups with geared activities and hang outs with similar aged kids. The younger family will also find resorts with specialized kids camp programs and evening childcare options.
My personal favorite is the Hard Rock All Inclusive Resort. There is something there for everyone from kids to seniors and everything in between. The rock memorabilia is worth the visit for all aged guests. For musicians, the electric guitar loaner program would be a highlightt. I don’t play, but I enjoyed posing for a picture anyway.
