Japan

Japan is a beautiful and diverse nation.

It’s safe, welcoming and full of history, culture and fabulous food.  Still, with its difficult language, signage and kanji writing characters, it can be a bit overwhelming for visitors on their own, especially for a first trip.

Solo To Group Travel offers multiple packaged tours, private custom itineraries and travel planning for those who want to travel on their own.  Cruising is also a popular choice for seeing the many island and prefectures of this amazing destination.

While many guests prefer to visit in the spring, for cherry blossom viewing, we also arrange winter travel for some world class skiing as well.  This is truly a destination that’s perfect for families, honeymooners, couples, solo travelers and everyone in between.  With nearly every imaginable sports, active adventurists will find it hard to fit everything into even a month long vacation.  Those who want to visit historic sites will want to travel to many parts of the country and the train system is one of many great options.

Japan is a country roughly the size of California, but with almost three times as many people.  The cities are very highly populated, with roughly 30% living in greater Tokyo.  A truly memorable vacation will include time in some of the most popular cities as well as time in the country, possibly at an onsen, farm or other authentic local experience.
